Anastasiia Gavrilova, a visionary artist and gifted young cinematographer born in 1991 in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, USSR, and raised in the tranquil setting of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. From early on, her artistic inclination was evident, attending an Art school for kids and later pursuing architecture studies at the State Engineering University.

However, her artistic journey took a new course during university, where she discovered her true passion for visual storytelling through photography and cinema. In 2015, seeking artistic growth, she moved to Germany and immersed herself in cinematography, eventually studying formally at the esteemed Filmuniversität Babelsberg.

Anastasiia's talent blossomed, evident in her role as Director of Photography on the acclaimed documentary "Post Mortem Berlin" in 2019. In 2022, she achieved a significant milestone, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Cinematography, and now continues her Master's studies while working as a Camerawoman at Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz theater.
